Jake Garcia (they/them) has a deep love for both youth engagement and our local ecosystems. Over the past 10 years, they've explored their passion for working with youth in different roles, including being a Soccer Coach, Camp Director, Archery Instructor, Playworker, and ultimately an Outdoor Educator! While each role uniquely worked with youth, their goal has always been to center the kids’ experience, advocate for their needs, and contribute to their journeys of growth. Jake is a deep believer in observation and exploration as tools for learning, and this Summer, they're looking forward to deepening their connections to the land alongside the kids and hopefully meeting more of our sun loving relatives along the trails!
